Reception desk in Onsen hotel

I took a short trip to Kumamoto yesterday.
The reception desk of the Onsen ryokan was very cool, so I asked the managers of the ryokan if I could shoot the interiors of the ryokan.
They were very kind and I could shoot the interior and exterior of the ryokan at night.

9jpegs tone-mapping.

I was wondering if you can tell me what filter/plug-in did you use after performing the tone-mapping. Or you just painted over using a tablet? However, it looks really cool.

First, thank you so much for your comment :aww:

I usually use Color Efex Pro after tone-mapping, and Topaz Denoise or NeatImage before size-down for submitting :)

Hmm, I use the same. Cannot say which component would give you the painted look though... certainly not the noise removal tools :)

Well.....mainly I use tonal-contrast, secondary bleach-bypass, darken-lighten center, duplex, pro-contrast and white-neutralizer :aww:

My tools of trade too (except the bleach-bypass, which I find destructive). I think a higher amount of noise reduction is actually responsible.
